ABOUT OUR STAFF – FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PROFESSIONAL
Our friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff had been providing strong, and helpful customer service since we opened our doors in 2009. We treat you, your staff, and your clients with respect on a one to one level. Providing fast, timely service is important to us.
Keeping informed on all aspects of the ever-changing healthcare system is vital to us and provides you accurate and up-to-date billing and coding practices and services. Have questions? Our staff will be happy to help you keep up to date with new coding procedures.
Each member brings unique talents, experience and excitement to the office. Our goal is to use these talents and experience to do the best we can for each and every one of our clients.
With over 38 years of combined customer service, billing, and coding experience, you can feel at ease knowing that Medical Billing Management, LLC. has your best interests in mind and that your medical practice is productive and you receive the most money possible. In 1994, Becky began her own billing service while living in rural Northern California where she was billing for a family practice physician and a chiropractor. She then moved to Sonoma, California and began working for Medaphis Corporation where she furthered her knowledge of medical billing and coding practices, specializing in billing for Anesthesiologists. In 1999, she was recruited to Utah to bill for a pain management practice where she remained until opening Medical Billing Management in February 2009. Becky is a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the American Academy of Professional Coders and is the co-founder of the local St. George AAPC chapter. She has served as Vice President and later, President and looks forward to working with her colleagues to bring more awareness of the challenges facing billers and coders in the year to come.
Kelli joined us in 2015. She moved from Salt Lake City to be part of our team. She worked for a pain management practice while attending school full time. She has her Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Kelli is also CPC certified with AAPC and is currently the office manager. She is the account rep for our Pain Management practice, Audiology as well as surgery and office visit coding. She applies her ongoing education to help with continued policy developments for our office in addition to creating our newsletters.
Karen has been with the company since 2009. Prior to joining our team,
Karen worked as a paralegal for 17 years in California. She moved to St.
George in 2007 and started working as an MA in an OB/GYN office. This
experience has heightened her knowledge in her quest to become CPC
certified. Karen’s current focus is to our OB/GYN, Family Practice and
Physical Therapist clients.
Kathy joined our team in 2014. She worked in manufacturing for many years until that company closed. She already had a Business degree but returned to school for training in medical billing. When she completed school she began billing for an oncology doctor. Currently, she is the account rep for our OB/GYN clients.
